For the period of May 18 through June 17, 2011. there were a total of 1894 visits to the Heron Haus web site. Of these, 1693 came from the United States. Visits from the countries with the largest number of visits are shown here:

None of this seems particularly surprising, but a closer look revealed to us that all the visits from Brazil came from one city - Pelotas. Pelotas is in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, the southern most state in Brazil and all the visits seem to come from the same computer. Pam was an exchange student in 1966 in Porto Alegre, also in Rio Grande do Sul. We don't know who is making these visits, but would love to find out. Perhaps it is someone Pam knew but has not been in contact with since the 60's.

Again, no surprises on the state level. However, when we looked at Forida as a state, we found that 13 of the visits came from a city (or town) called Fernandina Beach in the state's extreme northeast. The visits do appear to come from different computers.

Carl and I visited the Shelborne Inn in Seaview, Washington late in March. We stayed March 30 and 31 and took a walk along the beach.
